The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) is a public co-educational university in Accra, Ghana, with six schools and 10 research institutes dispersed across four campuses (Accra, Tema, Kumasi, and Takoradi).
Nicholas T. Clerk (1930 – 2012), the Institute’s Rector from 1977 to 1982, named Greenhill as the Institute’s location. The name “Greenhill” refers to the main campus’ rich vegetation and mountainous topography, as well as its location in Legon, which was historically on the outskirts of Ghana’s capital, Accra.
